Form Forge is a Chrome extension that helps users fill job application forms by storing and reusing their personal and professional information. This policy explains how Form Forge handles your data.

Data Collection

Form Forge does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. All information you enter is stored exclusively on your device using Chrome’s local storage API (chrome.storage.local).

What is stored

When you use Form Forge, the following information may be saved locally on your device:

This data never leaves your device. It is never sent to any server, third party, or external service.

How your data is used

Your stored information is used solely to populate the Form Forge side panel when you visit a supported job application website, allowing you to copy or fill form fields faster.

Data sharing

Form Forge does not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party under any circumstances.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is stored locally until you choose to delete it. You can clear your entire profile at any time using the Clear Profile button in the extension. Uninstalling the extension will also remove all locally stored data.

Form Forge requests the following Chrome permissions:

No permission is used to collect or transmit data.

Third-party services

Form Forge does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Children’s privacy

Form Forge is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
